Frequently Asked Questions

If this is your first time travelling, you probably have a bunch of questions that we are more than happy to answer!

Listed below are some common FAQs, but feel free to contact us and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours!

Are flights included?

Flights to and from your destination are not included, however some tours may include an internal flight. We recommend looking at STA Travel, Flight Centre, and Google Flights to find the best deals, as well as directly on carrier websites.

Do I need a visa?

Most nationalities including the UK, Europe, Australia, NZ, Canada, USA, Scandinavia and Brazil do not require a visa for Thailand. As long as you have a passport with at least 6 months validity then you will receive a 30-day visa exemption on arrival. However some nationalities (e.g. Colombian, Mexican) must apply for their visa beforehand. For Cambodia, most nationalities are able to get a visa on arrival. The visa on arrival is for a maximum of 30 days and costs approx. $35USD and will be payable on arrival in cash. Some nationalities may need to make advance arrangements.

Do I need vaccinations?

Deciding whether to get vaccinated before you travel is a personal choice. There are no mandatory vaccinations for any of our destinations and all areas we travel to are very low risk. If you’re unsure or need advice we recommend visiting your local GP.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, absolutely. Aside from it being a condition of participating on one of our tours, you'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it! Trust us, we speak from experience!

Is accommodation shared?

You will be paired up with a buddy of the same gender for all twin-share accommodation. In the event of odd group numbers, there might be a solo room up for grabs. In any case, buddying up with someone is a great way to make a new friend instantly!
